PANSIT SINABAW - CEBU SANCTUARY RECIPE
Pansit Sinabaw is a popular dish that originated in Davao, Philippines. This noodle recipe features a variety of fresh vegetables and protein filled meats to create a delicious and colorful mixture.
INGREDIENTS
⅓ lb pork meat cut into bite-size pieces
⅓ lb of chicken cut into bite-size pieces
1 cup shrimp (optional)
1 lb Japanese Fresh Miki (noodles)
1 onion, sliced thin
4 cloves of garlic
Chopsuey mix, julienne cut
¼ cup of carrots, julienne cut
1 small cabbage
2 cups hot water (for the chop suey mix)
DIRECTIONS
Fill a pan with oil on medium/high heat, saute garlic and onion until caramelized.
Add the pork, when pork has browned then add the chicken and then the shrimp.
Remove the shrimp when the color turns orange, that means they are cooked.
Add the chopsuey mix, let it boil until the meat becomes tender.
Add in the shredded carrots, stir and let simmer for a few minutes.
Add in the Fresh Miki (noodles).
Add the shrimp back in.
Add in the cabbage just before everything is finished, stir and simmer for a few minutes.
Remove from heat and serve hot, enjoy!
