We Hit Our Goal

In March, a situation quickly arose that none of us anticipated as our nation locked down alongside most of the world. We knew that we had to do all we could to protect vulnerable women in our communities and to ensure our program could continue to provide income, education and community for survivors. We needed to raise $345,000 by the end of June to ensure the continued success of every woman in our program. YOU made it happen! 

Today, we are filled with gratitude to know that we survived the first three months of this global pandemic! With much uncertainty still surrounding the near future, our team has been working on adapting our program to meet the needs of survivors from afar.

As our Sanctuaries in India, Uganda and Mexico continue to remain closed, production for our social enterprise, PURPOSE Jewelry, has come to a halt. Nonetheless, you have ensured that each survivor continues to receive a paycheck through your generous donations.  

Though the work day has changed, our teams around the world have worked to increase education, hone in on financial planning, and make sure that each woman knows that her community stands with her through these difficult times!
