BEETROOT SANDWICH - MUMBAI SANCTUARY RECIPE

Beetroot Sandwich is a super simple, colorful, delicious Indian cuisine loaded with freshly grated beetroot, carrot, and mayonnaise. Enjoy them grilled or serve them as a cold sandwich!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 medium-sized beetroot, grated

  • 1 carrot, grated

  • 2 tbsps mayonnaise

  • Loaf of bread

  • Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Grate the beetroot and the carrot and toss in a medium sized bowl.

  2. Mix in the mayonnaise and add salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Spread the mixture on one slice of the bread, and place another slice on top. Cut into triangles or bite sized pieces.

  4. Enjoy this healthy sandwich!
